WHISKEY - IRELAND / SCOTLAND / AMERICA

Whiskey derives from 'uisge beatha' meaning 'water of life' in Irish and Scottish dialects. It is a type of alcoholic beverage distilled from grain, usually containing malt aged in wooden barrels.

Since it is produced in different ways in three countries, Irish Whiskey is divided into three as Scotch Whiskey and Bourbon.

Alcohol content in whiskey is around 40%.
